Our focus is on providing safe, professional and compassionate care without adding any financial burden. From your first appointment and beyond, you can feel confident knowing the process is fully supported, transparent and centred on your wellbeing.
The doctor will assess the answers from your form and contact you at the scheduled time to discuss. You'll then be referred to one of our partnered pain specialists to finalise review and facilitate a support letter to proceed with your application to the DVA for funding.
Yes. We're veteran-community-led. Many of our staff are former serving veterans or partners of veterans. This means our pain management specialists genuinely understand the veteran experience, service-related health challenges, and the unique barriers veterans face when accessing healthcare.
Our DVA claims advocates can help you navigate travel reimbursements and reduce the burden of getting to your appointments. For real-time transport directions and accessibility questions, call 1300 640 911.
Yes. To comply with DVA requirements, your first consultation must be conducted in person at any of the Melbourne clinics so our doctors can fully assess your needs and establish your care plan. However, once that initial in-person appointment is complete, follow-up consultations are available via telehealth, so you can access continuity of care without the burden of travel, especially during pain flare-ups or when appointments need to happen between clinic visits.
Please bring the following to your first appointment:
- Your DVA card (Gold Card or White Card)
- Photo identification (driver's licence or passport)
- A list of questions or concerns you'd like to discuss
For current requirements and any updates, check the Department of Veterans' Affairs website at dva.gov.au or call our Melbourne partner clinic on 1300 640 911 to confirm what you'll need for your specific appointment.
